Ticket Prices: $39.95, $49.95, $69.95, $119.95 and $249.95 (front row) plus applicable fees
Artist Info: Growing up in a small town in central California, Tyler began receiving intuitive mental images when he was only 10 years old with the foretelling of his grandmother’s death. Intimate communication with a deceased loved one evolved into “reading” classmates, and Tyler soon found himself the victim of schoolyard bullying. Between speaking to the dead and predicting people’s futures, and juggling math homework and gym class, life for a teenage medium in a small town became anything but easy. After a series of life-changing events -including a near-death experience -Tyler recognized that his passion, calling and life purpose was to bring clarity and closure to those he was privileged to read.

Word of his talents spread so quickly that 23 year-old Tyler relocated to Los Angeles and now stars in the mega hit TV series “Hollywood Medium with Tyler Henry” on E! Television Network.  In each episode, the young medium sits down and has one-on–one readings with top celebrities. His celebrity list grows everyday including: Sophia Vergara, Howie Mandel, Ellen DeGeneres Jim Parsons, Eva Longoria, Allison Janney, Chrissy Metz, Kris Jenner, Bobby Brown, Portia de Rossi, Mel B, Lil’ Kim, Dr. Drew, Ru Paul, Khole and Kim Kardashian, Jamie Pressley, Megan Fox, so many more. Tyler has also added ‘best-selling author’ to his impressive resume when his first book was released. Between Two Worlds, a memoir about his journey both in Hollywood and as a medium thus far, has been published in hardcover, paperback and eBook by Gallery Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster.

Uncle Kracker
Venue: The Railhead
Genre: Rock
Date: Saturday, Jan. 18, 2020 at 8 p.m.
Ticket Prices: $25 plus applicable fees for standing room only
Artist Info: Uncle Kracker’s 2000 major label debut, Double Wide, fittingly went double-platinum and yielded #1 smash “Follow Me”. Its 2002 follow-up No Stranger To Shame reached gold status and spawned cross-format hits such as “In A Little While” and the powerful cover of Dobie Gray’s “Drift Away” which set a Billboard record for most weeks at #1 on any chart, topping their #1 run on the Adult Contemporary radio charts for a staggering 28 weeks.

Before Uncle Kracker flew up the charts for five weeks at #1 with “When the Sun Goes Down,” a duet with good friend Kenny Chesney, country music might’ve seemed an odd place to find the Detroit-based good-time Kid Rock alumni. But after a few summer tours with Chesney, Uncle Kracker reached country’s Top 10 with his double-platinum crossover hit “Smile.” Then, 2012 saw him fully embrace his country side with his critically acclaimed fifth outing, Midnight Special produced by Keith Stegall which leaves no doubt this feel-good rocker is exactly where he should be.

Boulder Blues
Albert Castiglia
Venue: The Railhead
Genre: Blues
Date: Thursday, Jan. 30, 2020 at 6 p.m.
Ticket Prices: $5 cover at the door
Artist Info: As most artists will attest, the most unexpected circumstance can spark artistic inspiration. That’s a fact that hasn’t been lost on singer, songwriter and guitarist extraordinaire Albert Castiglia. With his latest album, the aptly named Masterpiece, he celebrates an unforeseen triumph — a connection with a daughter he never knew he had. The result is a work that’s both personal and provocative all at the same time.

Co-produced by longtime friend and colleague Mike Zito, and released on Zito’s own label, Gulf Coast Records, on May 24th, the album also finds Castiglia reflecting on the disappointment and disconnect that’s gripped the nation in the past several years. Several songs, “Heavy” and “Love Will Win the War”, deal with the dilemma that has impacted the those forgotten as the result of this modern malaise.

The tone of the album underscores both its mood and its message, from the forthright stance of “Bring on the Rain,” the frenzy and fury of “Keep On Swinging” and the driving determination of “Catch My Breath,” “Thoughts and Prayers” and “Red Tide Blues,” to the rustic reflection of “Love Will Win the War,” the confidence and contemplation of the title track and the somber and sobering “I Tried To Tell Ya.” By Castiglia’s own admission, the sound is raw and unfiltered, little wonder since he and Zito play all the instruments between them.

SANTA FE STATION
Will Downing
Venue: Chrome Showroom
Genre: Urban A/C
Date: Saturday, Jan. 18, 2020 at 8 p.m.
Ticket Prices: $32.50, $42.50 and $52.50 plus applicable fees
Artist Info: Throughout a career that dates back to the early ’80s, Will Downing has been among the steadiest and most productive artists in R&B. Not cut out to hop aboard commercial production trends for the sake of attaining mainstream success, he has tended to stick resolutely to a sophisticated and modern sound based in soul and jazz. He mixes refined originals with spirited covers, and combines his deep and rich voice with a restrained “song first” approach. Downing doesn’t have many major singles by the standard measurement — his version of Angela Bofill’s “I Try” is his only Top 20 Billboard R&B hit — but he has been a mainstay of the urban adult contemporary radio format. Six of his albums have reached the R&B Top 20.
