Tropicana Las Vegas will partner with the Mia St. John Foundation to host a special concert event on Thursday, December 19. Guests will be treated to a performance by Broadway singer and Las Vegas headlining vocalist Angela Teek with a full 16-piece orchestra, as well as special guest Tony Orlando. The event is free and open to the public. Guests can redeem their tickets at the Tropicana Las Vegas box office.
Mia St. John is a five-time world and international boxing champion and first generation Mexican born in America. She founded the Mia St. John Foundation – “El Saber es Poder” – to empower individuals suffering from mental illness, homelessness, addiction and poverty by providing programs to better educate, inform and improve physical and mental health. From starring on Broadway to winning Star Search to performing around the globe, Angela Teek captures the Art-of-Storytelling through her musical interpretation and heartfelt joy of sharing her authentic life in a captivating theatrical experience. Teek has performed at Myron’s Cabaret inside The Smith Center for the Performing Arts, The Space, The Italian American Club, The Dennis Bono Show, and more.
