The Sapphire Foundation for Prostate Cancer (SFPC), Vegas’ premiere 501(c)3 benefitting men with prostate cancer and former MLB premiere power hitter Jose Canseco will host the world’s largest mixed table tennis tournament, Ping Pong Palooza!
On Wednesday, November 20th, the Sapphire Foundation for Prostate Cancer and six-time MLB All-Star Jose Canseco invite Vegas industry pros, fun-havers and philanthropists alike to participate in the 13th Annual Ping Pong Palooza fundraising event to be held at to the world’s largest gentleman’s club. In recent years, paddle masters and ball-busting ladies have turned out to compete, representing various companies such as SLS, Hyde Bellagio, Beauty Bar, El Dorado Mexican Cantina, Crawl Vegas, and Tao Nightclub. Originally inspired by Christopher Walken film, Balls of Fury, this industry favorite event has matured into one of the most revered events held at Sapphire.
All teams are required to have a minimum of 4 contestants, with at least one female teammate. For teams looking to satisfy the female teammate requirement, Sapphire offers an option to add one of the multitalented Sapphire entertainers to fulfill participating teams’ all-star line ups! Team registration will begin at 6 p.m., with tournament play commencing at 7 p.m.
Teams with the “Best Uniform” and “Best Team Spirit” will also be awarded bottles of champagne. In addition to ultimate bragging rights and trophies, teams have the opportunity to win a fabulous Skybox Experience among other raffle prizes. Entry fee/donations are $25 per player, with all proceeds benefitting the Sapphire Foundation for Prostate Cancer. Drinks and buffet dining are included in entry.
