In 2018, Aguilar’s first solo album “Primero Soy Mexicana” was met with high praise, being nominated for Best New Artist and Best Ranchero/Mariachi Album in the 19th Annual Latin GRAMMY® Awards and Best Regional Mexican Music Album at the 2019 GRAMMY® Awards. In 2021, Aguilar released “Mexicana Enamorada,” an emotional, romantic album with features from fellow notable Latin artists including Gussy Lau, Joss Favela, Ana Barbara and Edgar Barrera.
