On Tuesday, Dec. 31, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas will present an evening of highly anticipated entertainment, dining, and seasonal festivities to celebrate New Year’s Eve. Guests are invited to ring in 2020 with Lizzo’s return to The Chelsea, Mustard at Marquee Nightclub, an exclusive firework viewing party at The Ice Rink, as well as celebrations at The Chandelier, The Barbershop Cuts & Cocktails and CliQue Bar & Lounge. Guests can also kick off the evening with specialty dinners at a number of the resort’s renowned restaurants and lounges.

Topping off her immensely successful breakout year, the 2020 GRAMMY Awards most-nominated artist, will close out 2019 at The Chelsea with a special New Year’s Eve performance. Lizzo’s newest album, Cuz I Love You, delivers everything from sixties soul to eighties post-disco pop with dense arrangements and electrifying vocals. Lizzo, who recently delivered a weekend full of buzz-worthy moments at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, will run through her hits like “Juice,” and “Tempo,” featuring Missy Elliot, as well as tried and true favorites like “Good as Hell,” and “Truth Hurts.”

Mustard, born Dijon McFarlane, is a DJ and producer. The Los Angeles-born native brings a hot, new and different sound to hip-hop music. Mustard has worked with some of the biggest names in hip-hop, and has released three studio albums of his own. His most recent studio album, Perfect Ten, was released in June 2019.

NYE 2020 at The Chandelier

The Chandelier is the place to see and be seen this New Year’s Eve. Levels 1 and 2 of the three-story bar will be open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis, and will host a line of spirited cocktails and top shelf champagne. Level 1.5 of The Chandelier will be open to the public until 9 p.m., after which the iconic space will transform into the ultimate New Year’s destination. Guests are invited to start the evening with The Cosmopolitan’s dynamic Restaurant Collection, where venues will offer innovative prix-fixe menus and celebratory cocktails. Advance reservations are required for all restaurants and can be made online.

Blue Ribbon’s New Year’s Eve celebration menu will include a chilled seafood platter, followed by a choice of a Charcuterie, Steak Tartare, Iceberg Salad, The Wedge Salad or Shrimp Remoulade. Entrée options include a choice of Wagyu Hanger Steak or Filet of Beef with Steamed King Crab Leg, complimented with family style sides such as Grilled Asparagus and Truffle Mashed Potatoes. For dessert, guests may select either the signature Chocolate Bruno or Chocolate Chip Bread Pudding.

Take a culinary excursion through Mexico and China with China Poblano’s Jose’s Way Tasting Menu. The all-inclusive menu includes chips & salsa, Tuna Ceviche Spoon, Chicken Siu Mai, Iberico Gao Bao, Snow Pea Leaf Salad, Taco Birria, Shrimp Mojo, Costilla de Rez con Mole Chilorio, Twenty Vegetable Fried Rice and Mango Sticky Rice. Guests may choose to partake in the optional cocktail experience, featuring four unique cocktails inspired by Mexico and China.
In addition to Estiatorio Milos’ beloved menu of exquisite fish and seafood, the restaurant will ring in the New Year with a traditional Greek dessert called the Vasilopita Cake—a first in the Las Vegas restaurant’s almost 10-year history. Traditionally served on New Year’s Eve as a fun and delicious way to celebrate the holiday, the Vasilopita Cake is typically baked with a silver coin hidden inside. As each person receives a slice, one will discover the hidden coin, symbolizing good luck and fortune for the New Year.

Countdown to 2020 with Momofuku’s five-course, family-style chef’s tasting menu. The pre-fixe menu will begin with three courses of deluxe appetizers, including Momofuku favorites Grilled Sichuan Lamb Ribs, Chicken Karaage Buns, Japanese Uni Inari and more. For the main course of the evening, guests will choose one of four options for their entrée; Smoked Heritage Pork Prime Rib, Herb-Roasted Cod, Grilled Snake River Farms Bavette or Grilled A5 Hokkaido Wagyu. The Cosmopolitan’s imaginative modern-day supper club will offer a decadent four-course meal alongside live music and high energy entertainment. Guests will be greeted with an amuse-bouche of Golden Osetra Caviar upon arrival. The first course offers a choice of Parsnip and Apple Velouté, Chilled Maine Lobster or Wagyu Steak Tartare. For the second course, guests can choose between White Truffle Risotto, Smoked Duck Breast or Sea Scallops. The table will then be presented with a choice of Filet Mignon, Ginger Glazed Chilean Sea Bass or Parisian Gnocchi. To end the night on a sweet note, guests have a choice of Coconut Panna Cota, Crème Brulee or a Chocolate Terrarium for the table.

Scarpetta is kicking off the new decade with a decadent New Year’s Eve prix-fixe menu featuring Foie Gras* Panna Cotta, Marinated Maine Lobster Salad, Duck Ravioli and a choice of Roasted Turbot or Grilled Prime Filet Tenderloin*. Guests are invited to finish off the meal with an assortment of desserts to make for the perfect evening.

Upon arrival, guests will be greeted with a glass of premium Veuve Clicquot paired with a delectable menu featuring the restaurant’s most popular items. The first course features a choice of Butternut Squash Ravioli, Seared Big Eyed Tuna or Japanese Wagyu Beef Tartare, followed by an organic mixed greens salad. Guests will have their choice of a 10 oz. Australian Wagyu Strip Steak, a 6 oz. Filet with Crab Legs, Seared Chilean Seabass or Mushroom Risotto for their main entrees. Rainer Becker’s modern Japanese restaurant will start the New Year with the ultimate Omakase five-course prix-fixe menu. To start off the evening will be greeted with a Jumbo Prawn Cocktail, Watercress Salad, Tuna Tartare with Caviar and Sliced Seabass Sashimi with Yuzu, Truffle Oil and Salmon Roe. The deluxe menu includes decadent dishes like Kurobata Pork Belly, Alaskan King Crab, U.S. Rib Eye with Chili Ponzu and an exclusive selection of Chef Simon’s sushi & sashimi.
