Taco ‘Bout Awesome! Tacos and Tamales Festival Gets Supersized for Annual Event on March 28

Clark County Parks and Recreation presents their Tacos and Tamale Festival, taking place Saturday, March 28 from noon – 8 p.m.at their new location at Desert Breeze Park, featuring a wide array of food offerings of alcohol tastings, live music on two stages, Lucha Libre wrestling exhibitions, carnival rides and kids’ activities. Admission and parking are free.
 
The food festival’s new location, expanded to over 12 acres in size, will feature more than 55 local restaurants and food trucks showcasing their taco and tamale creations – from the traditional, to multicultural-fusion, to totally insane! Also featured will be a Vegan Village, an exclusively-vegan and vegetarian area, featuring some of the most popular plant-based vendors from Las Vegas and Southern California, offering up their vegan-spin on traditional Mexican cuisine.
 
Tantalize your taste buds with our Alcohol Tasting Garden, steps away from the food festival. Tickets available: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/tacos-and-tamales-beverage-tasting-tickets-94058277841 and include unlimited tasting with over 50 different tasting experiences of seltzers, margaritas, sangrias, beers, wines, and spirits. Tickets start at just $35 per person.
 
Live entertainment on the Findlay Chevrolet Stage will feature: The Paranaois, Matamoska, Cafeta Cvba Tributo, Los Pelos Del Mas Alla, Von Kin and on the Exa 94.5 FM stage will feature: Dub 8, Freedom Band (Santana Tribute Band), El Premier Instinto (Caifanes Tribute Band).
 
 
Lucha Libre Las Vegas will be showcasing the talents of some of their biggest and most exciting stars, such as Magnus vs Taigo, Rey Leon/Silencio Letal/Ray Rama vs Durnago/Fujito/El Madness, Miriachi Loco/Lil Cholo vs Hyperstreak/Shaggy, Flor vs Antesis, Asesino De Payasos Sinn Bodhi vs Maximum Kahn, Suevesitos/Macho Mouse vs Sky High/Unguided Cuervo Azul, plus Mazzarti vs Queen Estrella vs Lacey Ryan vs Vulcana w/ GWAR OG Techno Destructo!
 
Additional features available on site (*fees may apply): Carnival games* featuring a full merry-go-round carousel, the legendary Typhoon ride, bounce houses, and plenty of sweet-treat vendors.
 
The festival is open from 12 – 8 p.m. on Saturday, March 28.  Admission is free to the public for the food-festival portion as well as the wrestling, live entertainment. Parking is available for free at over 27 acres of parking Desert Breeze Soccer Complex.
