- The Guess Who, with several hits in America, were superstars in their home country of Canada during the 1960s and early ’70s. Their early cover of “Shakin’ All Over” in 1965 became a surprise hit in Canada and reached the U.S. Top 40. Their biggest hits in America include “These Eyes,” “American Woman,” “Share the Land,” and “Clap for the Wolfman.” “American Woman” was their first chart-topping song in America, partly due to its cuttingly sarcastic lyrics. - ASIA Featuring John Payne – November 8 at 8 p.m.
- John Payne became the frontman of the supergroup ASIA in 1992 at the invitation of keyboardist Geoff Downes, replacing vocalist/bassist John Wetton. ASIA extensively toured the world for the next 14 years performing new classics and old favorites. With John Payne fronting the band, ASIA released 8 stunning studio albums and several live recordings. In 2006, Geoff Downes left the band to reform the 1982 line up for their 25th anniversary. On the 9th of May 2006, John Payne, Geoff Downes, John Wetton, Carl Palmer and Steve Howe contractually agreed that John Payne would continue his 14-year legacy with ASIA as “ASIA Featuring John Payne”. ASIA Featuring John Payne have been touring in North America since 2008.
- BJ Thomas – November 15 at 8 p.m.
- With hits transcending pop, country, and Christian music, BJ Thomas has a repertoire that is sure to impress. Some of his greatest hits include “Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head,” “Don’t Worry Baby,” and “I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry.”
- Gary Lewis & The Playboys – November 22 at 8 p.m.
- Gary Lewis & the Playboys are an American 1960s era pop and rock group, fronted by musician Gary Lewis, the son of comedian Jerry Lewis. They are best known for their 1965 Billboard Hot 100 number-one single “This Diamond Ring”, which was the first of a string of hit singles they had in 1965 and 1966. The band had an earnest, boy-next-door image similar to British invasion contemporaries such as Herman’s Hermits and Gerry and the Pacemakers. The group folded in 1970, but a version of the band later resumed touring and continues to tour.
- The Association – November 29 at 8 p.m.
- The Association was one of the more underrated groups to come out of the mid to late ’60s. The group’s smooth harmonies and pop-oriented sound (which occasionally moved into psychedelia and, much more rarely, into a harder, almost garage-punk vein) made them regular occupants of the highest reaches of the pop charts for two years — their biggest hits, including “Along Comes Mary,” “Cherish,” “Windy,” and “Never My Love,” became instant staples of AM play lists.
