DTP Companies (DTP), a $350 million investment initiative dedicated to the revitalization of Downtown Las Vegas (DTLV) and ISI Group, a Las Vegas artist collective, announce the unveiling of the latest mural addition and beautification project to the Downtown Las Vegas area, entitled “Bloom”.
In a continued and coordinated effort to increase the walkability of Downtown Las Vegas and nurture the talent of the local art community, DTP Companies and ISI Group have invited professional visual artists Heather Toledo and Trenton Larson to adorn an empty wall space adjoining Las Vegas’ Downtown Container Park with a collaborative mural piece that illustrates the power of a child’s will and imagination.
Toledo and Larson’s combined creative vision reflects an interest in human nature and its capacity to dream. The 105 sq. ft. piece entitled “Bloom” is anchored by an illustration of a child, manifesting a new reality of pink and orange-hued flowers, and rust and teal colored cliff-like structures and surrounding sparks of lightning.
“We wanted to collaborate on an idea that utilized both of our artistic visions,” said Larson, multi-medium visual artist. “The little girl symbolizes youth and the future. Through innocence and willpower, the child’s dreams are able to become reality even among the chaos of the outside world.”
“Bloom” is located on the exterior east wall of Downtown Container Park at 707 Fremont Street. For more information about DTP Companies visit www.dtplv.com. For more information about ISI Group visit www.isiunite.com.
