Downtown Las Vegas’ biggest Mexican Independence Day celebration returns to The Lawn at Container Park on Friday, September 10thwith the best heavy metal mariachi band in the world, Metalachi!
Sponsored by Corona, Espolon and Modelo, the free concert event for guests 21+ runs from 8 pm til late. Opening entertainment will be provided by local Latin rock n’ roll fusion band, Gravedad, from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., followed by a headlining performance from Metalachi, 10 p.m. til late. Several food and beverage outlets inside the park will be open late and satellite bars will be available to guests on The Lawn featuring drink specials like $11 Espolon tequila shots, $5 Corona and Modelo drafts, $13 Palomas and Cadillac Margaritas. In addition to drink specials, attendees can enjoy specialty craft cocktails like the Del Lobos at Oak & Ivy, the Sangre de Matador at Bin 702 or the Jalepeno Espolon Tequila from Downtown Terrace.

Downtown Container Park is doing its part to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. The park is currently operating under statewide guidelines. Guests are required to wear face coverings when indoors. This concert event will be held outdoors on the open-air stage where there is plenty of space for guests to enjoy themselves.
